SHARE: Engineering Research Center for Sharing Economy-Human, Automation and Resilience
This is a planning grant funded by US NSF. The project provides the platform for interaction and dialogue between diverse but interrelated disciplines that are critical in developing successful mod- els for designing sharing economy models. It brings together researchers and industry-government practitioners to formulate a common framework for addressing the diverse issues related to sharing economy applications that can guide design and policy formulation, described previously. The collaboration seeks convergence with engineering, computer scientists, social scientists, and regulation experts, as well as industry and government stakeholders to engineering the sharing economy for social good.Application focus areas include mobility (I contributed), logistics, lodging, computing and network infrastructure and energy.
